After pondering for a few months, I decided to completely take down the video course. Wiped out a complete years worth of work. I decided that this type of online course was not the right format for the small business person to learn. Most don’t have the time or desire to spend hours online learning what they need to know.

So, I spent the next six months taking all of this information and writing a workbook. The equivalent of a college course for a fraction of the price. I found out how to self publish it. I started getting five star reviews. It was an amazing feeling of accomplishment. I rebranded it Mastering Business Basics - The Workbook.

Next, I had to decide what to do with the podcasts. The result was the creation of a new podcast branded Mastering Business Basics - The Podcast. It is a combination of personal training and bringing on guests to expand on the things business people need to know on an everyday basis and considerations when choosing what type of business they may be considering.
The third part of the triad is personal consulting split into three types of need. The first is for those who need help in determining the tax consequences of their decisions, such as retirement scenarios. The second is for people who would like personalized help in structuring an existing or potential business.
The third is help for the 71% of the population in this country who are desperate to find a way to made a second income stream just to take the stress out of their lives. Those who just need a few extra dollars to pay the monthly bills or give their children a better life. These are the people I truly enjoy helping. The ones that are willing to take a chance on themselves. The ones that are willing to learn and work for a better life.
And to wrap it all together, I had to take a few months to combine my two websites into just this one with a common theme.
Will I accomplish helping more people through all of this? Only the future will tell what is in store for the seagull, but one thing is for sure. It won’t be a rocking chair.
